The special feature of HV vehicle electrical distribution systems is the electric power to be transmitted to drive the vehicle electrically. High currents and voltages are transmitted in the system by means of large cable cross-sections. In a high-voltage cable harness, shielded as well as unshielded cables are used for the electric powertrain, the auxiliary units, and the charging inlets.
We at WeWire in the Coroplast Group with our extensive experience in the development and production of cable harnesses and high-voltage lines, are able to fulfill the special requirements of electric mobility and to react very flexibly to the individual requests and requirements of different automobile manufacturers.
With more than 20 years of experience in the production of cable harnesses, know-how in the processing of large cross sections and the development and production of HV-meter goods in the Coroplast Group, it is only logical that we also have high-voltage vehicle electrical distribution systems as one of our areas of expertise.
Especially our experience and expertise in the area of cable harnesses for various applications in vehicles make us a competent partner in the development and production of HV cable harnesses. We can integrate our on-site service and development centers for product development with direct customer and system links.
Our in-house products create synergies that we can bring to the development process in a useful way. The HV cables with cross-sections from 16 to 95 mm² of our sister brand Coroflex are now standard in the e-mobility market and on leading platforms. The processing of contact systems for large cross-sections has been one of our core areas of expertise for a long time. And we can also score points on the very important topic of safety. Our well-equipped laboratories and test benches worldwide fulfill all industry standards.
