In the summer of 2024, all employees at Coroplast Group's German sites and our subsidiary brands Coroplast Tape, Coroflex and WeWire had the opportunity to apply for the ten places available for the ada Fellowship.
The one-year, cross-industry program aims to empower current and future managers and experts to drive new thinking and digital transformation in their organizations. Participants will gain practical knowledge in the areas of technology and sustainability, organizational growth and leadership, and personal growth and resilience.
The interest was great, the applications impressive, and the selection difficult – even more reason for us to be excited about the first forward-looking results from our participants, who we deliberately selected according to criteria such as age, gender, expertise and hierarchical level.
We are convinced that the ada Fellowship will provide valuable impetus to further drive our digital and sustainable transformation, promote innovative thinking and discover hidden talent. In addition, the Fellows will share their experiences internally, helping to better connect our functions – to bring all employees along in this shared transformation.
We see the ada Fellowship as an important addition to our comprehensive training program and our innovation and sustainability management. This is because the program promotes interdisciplinary knowledge transfer, sharpens the innovative perspective and ensures that the knowledge acquired is directly applied.
The fellowship year begins with a virtual kick-off event. From this point on, an intensive exchange with the ada community takes place with a variety of weekly events. During the year, all Fellows participate in a three-month iteration at the ada Future Lab. In this innovation center, small, agile teams develop practical solutions to specific challenges, enabling our colleagues to actively shape the Coroplast Group from within.
At the end of the program, participants receive a silver or gold certificate – as proof of the future-relevant knowledge and practical innovation management skills they have acquired. Upon successful completion of the program, Fellows remain part of the ada community as alumni or ambassadors. They have access to further learning content and can take part in events such as the annual ada Lovelace Festival – Europe's leading futurist conference.
With the ada Fellowship, we want to offer our employees the unique opportunity to become part of an innovative and future-oriented community – and to advance both themselves and our company.
Not learning to learn, but learning to do. The following figures show that the ada Fellowship successfully implements this guiding principle – which fits perfectly with the practical values of the Coroplast Group:
With these results, the ada Fellowship is another important building block for us in promoting lifelong learning within the Coroplast Group, opening up exciting career opportunities for employees and thus retaining them within the Coroplast Group.
