WeWire is part of the german-owned, family-managed Coroplast Group, which has a long history in producing solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors. The independent enterprise, produces high-quality cable assemblies and leads by a laser focus on innovation, engineering expertise and safe but efficient processes in an entrepreneurial culture that is market solution oriented in a pragmatic way. Coroplast in China started operations in October 2004, when it decided to set foot in Taicang.
After a few successful years, Coroplast decided to expand further in China, which lead to the founding of Coroplast Harness Technology (Kunshan) Co. Ltd in 2012. Our pronounced technological expertise and our customer-oriented way of thinking and working make us a strong development partner for both industries. As part of the automotive supply chain, the Coroplast Group is actively shaping the developments within the sector to maintain its position as a powerful and flexible technology leader. To enable our business units to become even more focused on their core competencies, we positioned them more clearly on the market and gave them a globally independent brand image. The Business Unit Wires Harness, to which the WeWire Harness (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. belongs, is now called WeWire.

- Interdisciplinary design development and implementation from one single provider (enquiry, installation space analysis, 3D cable routing, prototyping, pre-series production, optimisation up to the series production stage, series process development, prototype qualification, series support)

- Coroplast technical department: in-house test and validation systems for testing mechanical, electrical and chemical environmental influences in accordance with established standards

How we work – together with our customers
At WeWire, customer proximity is not just an empty phrase, but something we actively practise on a daily basis. It begins right at the project initiation phase and continues throughout the various process stages, right up to the finished product. In fact, many of our engineers not only visit customers regularly for meetings, they are often directly embedded as resident engineers in the development departments of our customers. We see this not only as actively practising our service mentality, but also as an opportunity to shape the course of development and remain at the very heart of current trends.
