The fact that flat hierarchies and genuine interest in one another are not just a promise but a living corporate culture in our family-owned company was demonstrated at this year's get-together of the 20 new apprentices and dual students with our CEO Natalie Mekelburger, true to our company motto "Keeping you connected".
In the relaxed atmosphere of our lounge, lively conversations quickly developed. The apprentices from all areas of the company were delighted that the CEO took the time to listen to their questions and experiences in detail.
It is important to me to support employees from the very beginning to live a culture of free thinking and development. Training and developing young talent is also very important to me.
Did you always want to take over the company or did you want to do something else? What was the most difficult career decision you ever made? What qualities do you look for when hiring managers? Natalie Mekelburger answered these questions and many more – and gave the young employees useful tips and an important piece of advice: "Please ask lots of questions, there are no stupid questions. You will meet many highly competent colleagues here at the Coroplast Group who are happy to share their knowledge with you."
It is precisely this open dialog that characterizes our corporate culture. In addition to the many spontaneous encounters between employees from different departments, a culture of free thinking and development also includes regular exchange formats. These offer an excellent opportunity to share and exchange knowledge, experience and perspectives across hierarchical and generational boundaries.
The conversation with Natalie Mekelburger showed me how important cooperation and open communication are for the Coroplast Group and for our joint success.
