This year's get-to-know-you meeting between the new apprentices and Natalie Mekelburger was another good example of how the motto "Keeping you connected" is not just a catchphrase, but that these strong connections are an integral part of our family business.
The initial reluctance of the new apprentices from all areas of the company quickly evaporated and lively conversations ensued. Our young talents were enthusiastic about the fact that the CEO personally took the time and showed genuine interest in their numerous questions and experiences. Finally, our modern lounge provided the ideal setting for this relaxed and open exchange at eye level.
For me, the exchange opportunities between apprentices and managers are extremely valuable. They provide a unique opportunity to share knowledge, experience and perspectives from different hierarchical levels and generations. In this way, they not only promote the development and inspiration of young talent, but also help to shape our corporate culture in the long term.
What are your responsibilities as CEO? How do you balance your professional and personal life? Do you need to have a degree to move up in a company? These and many other questions were answered by our CEO, who also wanted to find out a few things from the newly graduated trainees. It is precisely this exchange from different perspectives that makes this now traditional event so valuable for both sides.
