The Schwebebahnlauf in Wuppertal is a firm fixture in our calendar of events and is very popular with our employees every year. This year, a total of 81 colleagues took part. The weather was beautiful and the mood was great. We are delighted to be a top partner and to be able to make an active contribution to the fitness and health of our employees.

Ready to get started

The first motivated runners arrived at the Coroplast Group stand at 13:30 on Sunday. The participants used the provided refreshments and snacks to prepare for the upcoming 5 kilometer run.

Our comfortable Coroplast Group deckchairs in the Engelsgarten were also a popular retreat for employees and guests to relax and recharge their batteries before the start. The items we provided, such as sunscreen and sweatbands, were very well received by the visitors and put to good use.

Shortly before the start, all the runners and visitors to the stand, dressed in their eye-catching red Coroplast Group jerseys, gathered on the course for a group photo. The photographer's motivational style added to the already excellent atmosphere before the runners finally lined up at the starting line.

The starting signal was given punctually at 3:00 p.m. The spectators along the course cheered our team on with the clapping hands we had provided. Some of our colleagues were tempted to sprint to the finish line.

I've been with the Coroplast Group for six months now, and when I heard about the Schwebebahnlauf, I didn't hesitate for a second and thought, "I have to take on this challenge." Especially when you're just starting out in a company, an event like this is a great way to get to know individual colleagues better, talk to them and strengthen the team spirit.

We focus on health and team spirit

As a top partner of the Schwebebahnlauf, we are very pleased to be able to set a strong example for the health promotion of our employees.

Together with our partner SportsUp, we organized an eight-week running training program for our runners. As part of this training program, we focused on different areas each week to train together and work on personal performance. The training was suitable for all fitness levels and provided an opportunity to get in the mood for running together, whether the pace was fast or slow.

Another important goal was to foster a sense of community and togetherness among our colleagues. This was achieved through numerous motivational gestures from spectators along the route. After the run, many employees gathered for a relaxed end to the day. The delicious drinks and snacks were very popular, especially the free ice cream in Coroplast Group cups.

We are very proud of the individual achievements of our employees and are already looking forward to the Schwebebahnlauf 2025.
