The Coroplast Group attaches great importance to both training and promoting young talents. We are therefore delighted to have been selected by the business magazine Capital as one of the best apprenticeship companies in Germany in an exclusive study.

This year, for the eighth time, Capital magazine has selected the best companies in Germany that provide apprenticeships. Approximately 500 companies took part in the study, ranging from handicraft businesses to DAX-listed corporations. Almost 400 of them achieved the top rating of four or five stars, including the Coroplast Group for the first time. We are very proud of this, because the HR experts from the talent platform Ausbildung.de scrutinized the participating companies according to strict evaluation criteria in order to identify the success factors for training and dual studies.

How "Germany's Best Instructors" were determined

All companies participating in the study had to undergo a detailed evaluation with more than 90 questions divided into five categories:

the support and integration of apprentices in the company, including the qualification and support of trainers
learning in the company, including learning methods, performance evaluation and training plans
training marketing strategies and budgets
innovative methods such as the use of digital media or the integration of apprentices' technical skills into practice
student success outcomes, including retention and dropout rates, apprenticeship and starting salaries, and post-education career and training opportunities.

The responses were scored on a point system: a maximum of five points could be achieved in each of the five categories, for a total of 25 points. The Coroplast Group achieved an excellent overall score of 18 points and therefore 4 stars.

What makes our apprenticeship special

For many years, we have worked continuously to provide our commercial and industrial apprentices with the best possible training in all areas of the Coroplast Group. We place particular emphasis on practical relevance and personal support.

In concrete terms, this means that the apprentices are accepted as team members and we assign them typical tasks of their future profession from day one. They are never alone, but always have someone to talk to and get feedback from.

The importance we place on apprenticeships is demonstrated by initiatives such as our apprentice pitch, apprentice team day, onboarding weeks and the apprentice learning journey. From day one, our apprentices experience an environment that challenges and encourages them, and where they can grow as part of the team through practical learning stations. In this way, we create not only career prospects, but also a strong community where everyone counts.
